Circa 1880. This fabulous 14KT gold Victorian brooch features a .86-carat old mine-cut diamond bordered with six prong-set Persian turquoise pear-shaped cabochons, which are flanked on either side by five rose-cut diamonds (10 total). Further adorning the piece are two old European-cut diamonds and four Persian turquoise cabochons. The diamonds weigh 1.72 carats total with VS2-SI2 clarity and G-M color. The turquoise cabochons weigh 4.38 carats total. The brooch is finished with a pin stem and a "C"-style catch.
