Retro Diamond & Ruby Ring

Circa 1940. This fabulous 18KT gold Retro-era ring features a 1.01-carat old European-cut diamond with VS2 clarity, and I color, set into a four-prong platinum setting. The ring is also accented with six bead-set, round brilliant-cut natural diamonds and 22 channel-set, calibre'-cut natural rubies. The accent diamonds weigh .21 carats with VS1-VS2 clarity and G-H color. The rubies weigh .88 carats in total.
