Midcentury Sapphire and Diamond Bird on a Bow Brooch / Pendant

Circa 1950. This beautiful Midcentury brooch features an 18KT yellow gold bow accented with a bird of 14KT rose and white gold. The brooch is accented with 30 pave-set, round brilliant-cut natural diamonds, 34 prong-set, round/oval mixed-cut natural blue sapphires, and one bezel-set round single-cut lab-grown ruby. The diamonds weigh 1.5 carats in total, with VS1-VS2 clarity and E-F color. The sapphires weigh 6.80 carats with a strong saturation. The 10KT white gold pin stem features a removable fold-down bail to allow the item to be worn as a brooch or pendant.
