Midcentury French Emerald & Diamond Halo Ring

Circa 1950. This fabulous 18KT gold French ring features a 1.50-carat oval mixed-cut natural emerald set into a four-prong setting. The emerald is bordered with a double-tiered halo of 36 bead-set, round brilliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh .72 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and I-J color.
