Mid-Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Ring

Circa 1870. This fabulous Victorian halo ring features a sterling silver-topped 14KT yellow gold cluster setting, accented with a 1-carat cushion mixed-cut natural dark blue sapphire (no heat treatment) and eight old mine-cut natural diamonds. The diamonds weigh 1.12 carats in total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and H-I color. The 14KT yellow gold shank features a pierced floral design along the shoulders. The ring is approximately a size 6.75.
